SNOW WORK
GCSE Drama Yr 10.
We need to focus on developing your ability to answer the compulsory question set in the written exam. This question is based upon practical work that you have created. The piece of coursework that you performed at the end of last term is work that you might write about in the written exam.
Please ensure that you have the note sheets that were given out at the beginning of the project, and that you have filled in all the boxes with your thoughts and ideas about how the work developed and changed over the rehearsal period.
You must now make notes about your views about your work, now it has been performed. You should make notes with detailed reference to moments in your performance to support your opinion.
Please address the following areas, remembering to say WHY you feel like this:
- Your own skills and strengths - how effectively you conveyed your characters; your contribution to the group; your ideas and development of the work.
- Your weaknesses - performance skills; contribution to group decision making;.
- Your contribution to the project - how effectively you rehearsed, your organisational contribution - props, music, costume, plot outlines.
- How your work contributed and affected the final performance - did your scenes make the point they were supposed to; did you communicate your character effectively; did you lose focus and attention; did you come out of role?
REMEMBER TO GIVE EXAMPLES OF MOMENTS IN YOUR WORK TO SUPPORT.
