GRANTS

We are happy to receive grant requests from any department within HCS 
which we then consider at our committee meetings.  We like to think of 
the grants we agree to as 'the icing on the cake'  and try to fulfull 
as many reasonable requests as we can to the benefit of our children.

'At the most recent PTA committee meeting, we were very happy to grant the following requests:

£2000 towards an improved sound system and new posters in the newly refurbished 6th Form Cafe. 

£500 to subsidise the cost of the Science Department's Science Week, during which time they hope to have a full size space rocket for the day - watch out for this in the School yard!

We have also offered the loan of our PTA marquee to the CCF so that they can entertain more parents and guests at the Biennial Inspection in May.

A good start to the year, I'm sure you'll agree.'
