Hereford Cathedral School welcomed seventeen new pupils to the Cathedral Close today (June 16) as the annual Year 9 and 10 Induction Day took place.
Six girls and eleven boys came to the Cathedral School on Wednesday to meet their new form tutors and fellow pupils in a relaxed and social event. The Academic Deputy and Parents’ Association were also on hand to ease their transition.
New Year 9 and 10 students are joining Hereford Cathedral School from;
St Richards School, Bromyard; The Downs School, Malvern; Lucton School, Leominster; John Beddoes School, Presteigne; Moor Park, Ludlow; Bishop of Hereford’s Bluecoat School, Hereford; Prestfelde Preparatory School, Shrewsbury; Whitecross High School & Specialist Sports College, Hereford.
Paul Smith, Hereford Cathedral School’s Headmaster said:
“I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new students and parents, and I look forward to seeing them all again this September.”
