Hereford Cathedral School

Hereford Cathedral School’s Cantabile Girls Choir has reached the semi-finals of the BBC Songs of Praise, Senior School Choir of the Year and will be competing in Manchester on Sunday 12 February 2012.

Over three hundred schools submitted CDs to the BBC Songs of Praise for the judging process to begin, with individual judges listening to each recording.  Each judge then advises Songs of Praise of their top six.  The judging panel then meets to discuss and vote on the final six to participate in the competition – all judging is done blind, with judges having no knowledge of who has performed each piece.
