A taste of Victorian society came to Hereford last week (November 9 - 11) as Hereford Cathedral School performed Oscar Wilde’s comic play ‘Lady Windermere’s Fan,’ in the school’s Powell Theatre.
Within decadent scenes, the talented Cathedral School students brilliantly presented Wilde’s biting satire on the morals of Victorian society, convincingly developing the character’s personalities and the comic elements that each processed.
Over three busy nights, the entertained audience were skilfully guided through this four-act, well-worked comedy and thoroughly enjoyed a memorable evening at the leading School.
Lucy Zammit, Hereford Cathedral School’s Head of Drama said:
“Every evening, the students were fantastic! I am delighted that all their hard work has been rewarded.”
