Hereford Cathedral School students celebrated with the wider community on Sunday (May 23rd) as they were confirmed in their faith in God in Hereford Cathedral by the Bishop of Hereford.
16 Cathedral School pupils were joined by adult and junior church goers at the two hour service, with some also being baptised before their confirmation. The Cathedral was packed.
Following the service, Hereford Cathedral School hosted a drinks reception in their gardens, attended by the Bishop of Hereford, the Headmaster and congregation as confirmation books were presented.
Right Reverend Anthony Priddis, the Bishop of Hereford said:
“Before being confirmed I asked all candidates to write an account of their journey to this point. I was really impressed with the messages I received from Hereford Cathedral School students which were very moving and inspiring.”
