Hereford Cathedral School pupil, Lydia Stratford, celebrated sporting success recently (May 22) by qualifying for the National Junior Swimming Championships.
Joining the countries best swimmers in the Aldershot Gala, Lydia won the gold medal in the 200m breaststroke, in a national qualifying time of 2 minutes 51 seconds.
The Cathedral School student will now compete at the prestigious national championships, which will be held at Ponds Forge Sheffield between July 28 and August 3, 2010.
