53% attain a Distinction in ABRSM Practical Exams |

Twenty students from Hereford Cathedral School have attained a Distinction in their ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Practical Music Examinations, with a further 16 pupils achieving either a Merit or a Pass.
Out of 38 practical exam’s, spanning all instruments and between Grade 1 and Grade 8, pupils at the Cathedral School’s Music School have excelled practically and raised musical standards.
David Evans, Hereford Cathedral School’s Director of Music said:
“I am delighted for all the students involved in the ABRSM Practical Exam’s, their results truly reflect all their hard work, as well as the effort and dedication of their instrumental tutors.”
“To have over half of this terms candidates receiving a distinction is great news for the Music School, and highlights the achievements of this department.”
