Two HCS pupils were in the Top Ten for EDEXCEL Religious Studies GCSE last summer 2008. India Benjamin, now in the Lower Six at HCS, and Megan Corder who is now studying at the International School, Costa Rica, were both in the list of the highest scoring students in the country for GCSE Religious Studies last summer out of a field of over 150,000.
2008 was the first year that all fifth formers at HCS followed the GCSE RS so the Department was delighted with these results and the 100% A-C pass rate for the year as a whole.
