School Life

Sixth Form pupils at HCS

With small class sizes, specialist teaching staff and strong pastoral care, we ensure that each pupil at Hereford Cathedral School is treated as an individual. Traditional values are at the heart of what we do and with an excellent reputation for academic, artistic, musical, sporting and extra curricular success, we look to develop pupils who are happy, fulfilled and ready to make a positive contribution to school life and society.

Our curriculum is well-planned, wide-ranging and enriching. Its balance and focus on individual development helps us to stimulate enquiring minds, establish vital skills and spark passions for life.

In addition to their core and chosen subjects, pupils from outside the UK also receive a minimum of two periods of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and IELTS preparation each week.
