Another top year for HCS A-Level results

A Level results

Hereford Cathedral School students are celebrating today after 90% gained A* to C in their A-Levels.

With 70% of all grades achieved being awarded A*-B grades, this marks another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for students at the school.

More than half of all A-Level students at the school achieved nothing less than a B grade. Over a quarter achieved all A*/As, including three remarkable students who secured all A*s.

Seven subjects were awarded 100% grades A*-B with particularly strong results in the Arts and traditionally difficult subjects, including Economics, English Literature, Maths and Physics.

The very first A-level results for the school's new Mandarin and Psychology courses performed extremely well with 80% of Mandarin students achieving an A grade and 83% of grades A*-B in Psychology.
