Hereford Cathedral School's Music Department are delighted to invite you to a Summer Soirée concert to mark the end of a busy school year of music-making.
The concert will take place in the picturesque surroundings of College Hall, in the Cathedral Cloisters, on Wednesday 19 June at 6.30pm. The programme will feature performances from the school’s Choral Society, Senior Chamber Choir, Colla Voce (our Junior Chamber Choir), The Acafellas and The Gilbert Consort as well as some short recitals by a few of our Junior Music Scholars in Years 7-10. Repertoire will be varied and ‘summery’ in flavour and will include a performance of Bob Chilcott’s ‘Aesop’s Fables;’ a setting of the infamous tales to music, as well as Jazz Madrigals and some close harmony favourites!
A welcome drink of Pimm's or elderflower presse is included in the ticket.
