Marketing and PR Officer
Description: 15 hours per week, 37 weeks per year (Term time plus 1 week)
Salary: Starting at £20,300 (HCS support staff pay scale 15-19). This equates to £6,857.
Hereford Cathedral School seeks to appoint a dynamic, imaginative and motivated Marketing and PR Officer. This role will support the implementation of an integrated marketing strategy to enable the school to achieve its objectives, particularly in pupil recruitment and profile raising.
The successful candidate will be pro-active and resourceful, and have experience of delivering campaigns according to set specifications and working in partnership with marketing.
They will also value strong working relationships with all stakeholders and be comfortable in working within the community and School community.
This is a role with a high level of accountability and the key measures of success will be as follows:-
• the number of new enquiries generated
• the number of parent visits and registrations
• profile raising
• building and sustaining strong and effective working relationships.

Netball Coach (part time)
From September 2018
We are looking for an experienced coach who can deliver regular coaching sessions at weekends, within school time and at after school clubs to join us on a self-employed basis.
We are looking for an outstanding coach who:
• Has the ability to coach netball to a high standard.
• Motivates and encourages young people through sport.
• Has the ability to develop and implement high quality, varied and creative coaching sessions focusing on a young person-centred approach.
• Shows excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can communicate with people at all levels.
• Is able to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
A licence to drive minibuses would be beneficial but is not essential.
