HCJS choir takes to the stage for Barnardo's National Choral Competition Final

Hereford Cathedral Junior School’s Year 5 & 6 Choir performed amazingly well at the Barnardo’s National Choral Competition at Birmingham Symphony Hall this week. What an experience to step out on stage in front of over two thousand people!

The audience loved their songs and it was a real treat to hear the other fantastic choirs in the finals, with such a high standard of singing from choirs from all over the UK.

We had a wonderful day including a trip to the cinema and to Zizzi's as a reward for the hard work in lunchtimes and rehearsals.

The children have been wearing their 'National Finalist' pin badges in school - this experience will remain with them for the rest of their lives
